The PAE 50 air cooler is a powerful and versatile air cooler for mobile indoor cooling. The PAE 50 air cooler features four fan speeds, allowing it to be flexibly adjusted to the desired air circulation. With a swing function, remote control, timer, night mode, and natural wind mode, this mobile air cooler offers numerous convenient features for daily use.
The PAE 50 air cooler is particularly suitable for rooms where flexible and mobile cooling is desired on warm days. Unlike a conventional air conditioner, the air cooler works with evaporative cooling and does not require an exhaust hose.
Warm room air is drawn through a honeycomb filter moistened with water. As the water evaporates, heat is extracted from the air. The cooled air is then blown into the room by the fan.
The PAE 50 can be used in living rooms, bedrooms, offices, hobby rooms, or other work and lounge areas. Since the cooling effect of an evaporative cooler depends on temperature and humidity, the process is particularly suitable for dry to moderately humid indoor air.
The core of the PAE 50 air cooler is its natural evaporative cooling. Water is distributed over a large honeycomb filter. The filter absorbs the water, providing a large surface area for evaporation.
Warm room air is passed through this moist filter. The evaporation of the water extracts heat from the air. The subsequently cooled air is then discharged into the room via the fan.
This principle is comparable to the well-known cooling effect produced when air flows over moist skin. Since no compressor cooling is required, the PAE 50 uses no chemical refrigerants and requires no exhaust hose.
The large 20-litre water tank allows for long periods of operation without frequent refilling. At a maximum evaporation capacity of up to 2 litres per hour, the theoretical runtime can be several hours. The actual runtime depends on the operating level, indoor climate, and evaporation rate.
A clearly visible water level indicator shows at any time how much water remains in the tank. If the water tank is empty, the unit switches off automatically, and a warning indicator signals the lack of water.
As an alternative to manual filling, the PAE 50 can be connected to a suitable water source using the included hose.
For an additional freshness effect, the PAE 50 can be operated with the four included ice packs. These are placed into the water tank and can further cool the water.
Ice cubes can also be used. The lower the water temperature, the better the conditions for evaporative cooling. However, the actual cooling effect always depends on the ambient conditions.

The PAE 50 has an integrated air filter and an ionization function. The rear nylon mesh filter can trap dust, lint, and pet hair from the intake air and can be easily removed for cleaning.
When ionization is activated, ions are released into the airflow. These can help to influence or reduce certain suspended particles in the room air.
However, the ionization and the integrated air filter are no substitute for professional air purification and do not constitute a medical treatment, especially in cases of allergies or health issues.
With the automatic swing function, the internal vertical slats move continuously from left to right. This distributes the airflow more evenly throughout the room.
The outer horizontal slats can be adjusted manually. This allows the airflow to be aimed forward, upward, or downward.
The night mode is suitable for operation at night. The fan speed is reduced step-by-step so that the airflow becomes gentler over the operating time.
This allows the PAE 50 to be used for ventilation, air cooling, or humidification during the night.
In natural wind mode, the fan speed is changed automatically. The airflow becomes stronger and weaker, mimicking the changing feel of a natural breeze.
With the timer function, the operating time of the PAE 50 can be controlled. For example, it can be set so that the air cooler automatically switches off after a certain time.
Time-controlled switching on is also possible. This allows the air cooler to be active before a room is used.
The PAE 50 has an integrated fragrance oil diffuser. If desired, a few drops of suitable fragrance oil can be added to the provided diffuser container.
The fragrance is then distributed in the room with the airflow. The use of fragrance oils is optional and is not required for the cooling function.
A major advantage of the PAE 50 is its versatile use throughout the year. In summer, the unit can be used for evaporative cooling and ventilation. In spring and autumn, it is particularly suitable for air circulation.
During the heating season, the PAE 50 can additionally be used as a humidifier. Dry indoor air can be exacerbated by heating, which many people find uncomfortable.
Through water evaporation, the PAE 50 can increase humidity, contributing to a more pleasant indoor climate.
Thanks to the smooth-running transport castors and recessed side handles, the mobile air cooler can be moved comfortably from one room to another.
