The PAE 49 air cooler is a versatile mobile air cooler for pleasant refreshment on warm days. The PAE 49 combines air cooling, ventilation, air humidification, and air purification in one compact device. With four fan speeds, an automatic swing function, a remote control, a timer, and a night mode, the air cooler can be comfortably adjusted to personal needs.
The PAE 49 air cooler offers multiple functions in one device. On hot days, evaporative cooling can provide a pleasantly refreshing air flow. If the cooling function is not needed, the device can also simply be used as a fan.
With a maximum air flow rate of 750 m³/h and an evaporation capacity of up to 2 litres per hour, the PAE 49 generates a powerful and pleasantly cooling air flow.
The spacious 20-litre water tank allows for long operating times without the need to constantly refill the water. At maximum evaporation capacity, the theoretical tank capacity lasts for up to approximately 10 hours. The actual operating time depends on the selected power level and environmental conditions.
The water level can be easily checked via the integrated level indicator. When the water container is empty, the device switches off automatically, and a warning light signals the low water level.
The PAE 49 air cooler uses the principle of natural evaporative cooling. Water is distributed over a special honeycomb filter. A fan draws warm room air through the water-moistened honeycomb filter.
As the water evaporates, heat is extracted from the air passing through. This creates a cooler air flow that is then blown into the room.
Unlike classic air conditioning units, an air cooler of this type requires no compressor, no refrigerant, and no exhaust hose. The device can therefore be used immediately without complex installation.
The automatic swing function moves the vertical slats continuously from left to right. This distributes the air flow more widely throughout the room.
The horizontal slats can be adjusted manually. This allows the discharge direction to be individually adapted to face forwards, upwards, or downwards.
The PAE 49 can be controlled both via the integrated touch control panel and conveniently using the infrared remote control. This allows the most important settings to be made from a distance.
In night mode, the fan speed is gradually reduced after some time. This allows the PAE 49 to be used comfortably during the night or in quiet work areas.
The function is suitable for warm summer nights as well as for operation as an air humidifier during the heating season.
In natural wind mode, the device automatically varies the fan speed. The air flow alternates between stronger and weaker, creating a changing air movement reminiscent of a natural breeze.
The PAE 49 features an ionization function as well as an integrated air filter. When ionization is activated, ions are released into the air stream. These can help to bind certain suspended particles in the room air or reduce their concentration.
Additionally, the nylon mesh air filter on the back catches coarser particles such as lint, animal hair, and dust. The filter can be easily removed and cleaned by wiping or rinsing.
With the integrated scented oil diffuser, the PAE 49 can be used for room air aromatization if desired. To do this, a suitable amount of scented oil is added to the provided diffuser container.
This allows the air cooler to be used for pleasantly scented room air in addition to its cooling and ventilation functions.
The PAE 49 is not only interesting for the summer. During the heating season, the device can also be used for air humidification. The evaporation of the water increases the air humidity in the room.
Particularly in heated living and work spaces, excessively dry room air can be perceived as uncomfortable. With its air humidification function, the PAE 49 can therefore also be used outside of the warm season.
The compact air cooler can be easily moved from one room to another thanks to its side recessed handles and smooth-running transport wheels. The transport wheels feature locking brakes, allowing for secure positioning.
Additional feet are included in the scope of delivery. They allow for better stability on floors with a slight incline.
