The WDH-240GT infrared radiant heater provides quick, targeted, and pleasant heat for patios, conservatories, workshops, and other areas of use. Its modern Golden Tube technology, two heat settings of up to 2400 watts, and flexible mounting options—using either a stand or wall bracket—make this heater exceptionally versatile.
The WDH-240GT uses modern Golden Tube heating tubes for direct infrared heat transfer. Unlike classic fan heaters, an infrared radiant heater does not primarily heat the room air, but instead radiates heat directly onto people and surfaces in its vicinity.
As a result, heat is generated very quickly after switching the unit on. This technology is particularly suitable for situations where targeted and immediate heat is required, for example, on a patio or in a conservatory.
The WDH-240GT offers two power settings of 1200 watts and 2400 watts. This allows the heating output to be adjusted to the specific situation.
The lower setting is suitable, for instance, for a reduced heat requirement, while the maximum output of 2400 watts provides particularly intense heat radiation.
The WDH-240GT can be used as a mobile floor-standing heater or permanently mounted on a suitable wall. The included tripod can be adjusted to three height positions: approximately 0.60 m, 1.25 m, or 1.94 m.
The heating head can be swiveled and thus aimed precisely at the desired area. For wall mounting, the included wall bracket allows for a space-saving installation.
With its IP55 protection rating, the WDH-240GT is suitable for more demanding operating conditions. The housing is protected against dust as well as water jets from various directions.
Furthermore, infrared heat radiation is less sensitive to air movement than the heat from a standard fan heater. This makes the heater especially well-suited for patios, covered outdoor areas, and conservatories.
The direct heat radiation also makes the WDH-240GT interesting for certain commercial applications and drying tasks. Under suitable conditions, the heat output can be used, for example, to support drying processes.
The combination of mobile setup, high heating output, and the ability to aim the heating head makes this particularly practical.
The WDH-240GT operates without a fan. Heat is transferred directly via the infrared heating tubes. This means there is no disturbing air movement and no typical fan noise.
The radiant heater features a robust construction and is designed for its intended range of use in accordance with the specified standards and tests. The device is GS-certified and complies with CE and EMC standards.
