Compact electric heater with ceramic heating element, quiet radial fan, and frost protection function
The WDH BGP02 ceramic fan heater is a compact and powerful electric heater with 2 kW heating capacity. The ceramic heating element ensures a short warm-up time and efficient heat transfer. Thanks to the particularly quiet radial fan, the heater is suitable not only for construction sites and industry but also for quiet areas such as offices, living rooms, or waiting rooms.
The ceramic heating element of the BGP02 WDH enables a short warm-up time. At the highest heat setting, 2000 watts of heating power are available. The blown air can be heated by more than 60 °C compared to the room temperature.
The BGP02 is therefore particularly well-suited when additional heat is needed quickly. The two heat settings allow the output to be adapted to the respective heat requirement.
With an air volume flow of approximately 120 m³/h, the BGP02 moves less air than some fan heaters designed more for air throughput. In return, the integrated radial fan operates with particular smoothness.
With an operating noise of only about 39 dB(A) at 1 meter, the ceramic fan heater is also suitable for areas where quiet operation is important.
The desired operating mode is set using the left rotary control. A ventilation-only mode and two heat settings are available.

The ventilation-only setting can be used, for example, when no additional heating power is needed but the air in the room needs to be moved.
The second rotary control is used to set the desired temperature. The thermostat can be adjusted steplessly from 0 to 85 °C.
Once the set temperature is reached, the heating operation pauses. If the temperature drops below the set value again, the heater starts automatically. This means the device does not need to be constantly switched on and off manually.
Due to the wide adjustable range of the thermostat, the BGP02 is also suitable as a frost monitor. The temperature controller can be set from as low as 0 °C, making the fan heater suitable for applications where a room temperature needs to be kept just above freezing.
Typical applications include, for example, smaller utility rooms, workshops, garages, or other areas where a drop in temperature to freezing point should be avoided.
The fan head can be swiveled vertically within a wide range of up to 90°. This allows the warm air to be directed specifically in the desired direction.
This is particularly practical when not the entire room needs to be heated evenly, but a specific zone or workspace needs additional heat quickly.
The housing of the BGP02 consists of fire-resistant black plastic and a sturdy metal rack. The integrated carrying handle facilitates transport and allows for quick changes between different locations.
The device weighs only about 3.1 kg and requires comparatively little space with its dimensions of 32 × 30 × 25 cm.
The BGP02 can be placed in the classic way on a suitable surface. In addition, there is the option of hanging the device on a wall using two commercially available hooks. The hooks required for this are not included in the scope of delivery.
Due to the high discharge temperature, the ceramic fan heater should be positioned in such a way that children and pets do not have direct access to the device.
The solid front grille offers additional protection in the area of the warm air outlet. Nevertheless, the blown air and parts of the device can become very hot during operation.
The specified protection class IP20 indicates that the BGP02 is intended for dry indoor areas. The device should therefore be protected from water and moisture.
