The Fral FDK44 is a powerful professional dehumidifier for medium-sized rooms with high humidity levels. With up to 36 liters of dehumidification capacity per day, hot-gas defrosting, and an operating range starting from 1 °C, it is particularly suitable for basements, garages, storage areas, and commercial premises.
The Fral FDK44 was developed for the reliable dehumidification of medium-sized rooms prone to moisture. Typical areas of application include basements, single and double garages, storage rooms, archives, laundry and drying rooms, as well as technical and commercial spaces.
With its compact design and two folding carrying handles, the FDK44 is relatively easy to use in different locations. The four screw-on rubber feet allow for stable placement.
Under favorable conditions, the Fral FDK44 reaches up to 36 liters of dehumidification capacity per day. The actual water removal capacity depends—as with any condensation dehumidifier—on the temperature and relative humidity.

A special strength of the FDK44 is the hot-gas defrosting system. This allows the device to be used at temperatures as low as approximately 1 °C, making it significantly better suited for unheated basements, garages, and similar spaces than many conventional household dehumidifiers.
The specified temperature range is from 1 °C to 35 °C. At low temperatures, the absolute dehumidification capacity decreases; however, the FDK44 remains operational even in cooler areas.
The integrated humidistat allows for automatic operation. The desired humidity level is set, and the FDK44 regulates its operation independently. Once the target humidity is reached, the device switches off and automatically restarts as soon as the room humidity rises.
This makes the FDK44 particularly suitable for rooms that need to be kept reliably dry over long periods.
The Fral FDK44 does not have an integrated condensate tank. The water collected is drained directly via the intended hose connection. As a result, there is no need to empty a water tank regularly.
For applications where the condensation cannot be drained directly into a lower-lying drain, suitable condensate pumps are available as an option.
The robust construction of the FDK44 is designed for reliable operation over extended periods. After a power failure, the device automatically resumes operation with the last selected settings.
This means the dehumidifier can, for example, also be operated using a timer or a smart home system.
The Fral FDK44 can be flexibly positioned or mounted. In addition to classic floor placement, wall or ceiling mounting is also possible depending on the application.
