Velcro Window Kit with hook-and-loop fastener for windows with a perimeter of up to 400 cm
The Velcro Window Kit is a practical window seal for portable air conditioners with an exhaust hose. It seals the open window area around the exhaust hose, thereby reducing the influx of warm outdoor air. This allows the cooling capacity of the portable air conditioner to be used more effectively.
The window seal is easily attached to the window using self-adhesive Velcro strips. Installation is possible without drilling or special tools. The Velcro Window Kit is suitable for various types of windows and can be used on windows with a maximum perimeter of 400 cm.
Portable air conditioners vent warm exhaust air outdoors via an exhaust hose. This requires opening a window. Without an additional window seal, however, an opening remains through which warm outdoor air can re-enter the room.
The Velcro Window Kit largely seals this area while allowing the exhaust hose to pass through. This makes using a portable air conditioner with an open window significantly more sensible and comfortable.
The Velcro Window Kit is attached to the window frame using self-adhesive Velcro strips. This allows the window seal to be installed without drilling and detached from the hook-and-loop fastener whenever necessary.
The simple installation makes the Window Kit particularly practical for the seasonal use of a portable air conditioner. Before installation, the window frame should be clean, dry, and free of dust and grease to ensure the Velcro tape adheres as reliably as possible.
The window seal is suitable for various window designs. The decisive factor is that the window can be opened accordingly and the maximum perimeter of 400 cm is not exceeded.
The perimeter is calculated as the sum of the three open sides of the window. Therefore, the window should be measured accordingly before purchasing.
The Velcro Window Kit can also be used for suitable vented tumble dryers. Devices with an exhaust hose can effectively vent warm and moist air outdoors, while the remaining window opening is sealed.
The Window Kit can therefore be used not only in summer for portable air conditioners, but depending on the application, also during the colder months.
