The Aerial WT230D is a high-performance room air laundry dehumidifier designed for wall mounting. It combines simple operation with digital control, an individually adjustable laundry drying program, and automatic room monitoring. The two-speed fan also allows for adaptation to different requirements regarding drying performance and noise levels.
The WT230D was designed as a further development of the WT230U and is particularly suitable for laundry rooms and drying rooms in single-family homes. Operation is digital, allowing for targeted selection of the desired dryness level.
The settings cupboard dry, iron-damp, or pre-dried are available. The preset values can be adjusted individually. As soon as the desired dryness is achieved, the unit switches off completely.
In the general room monitoring mode, the laundry dehumidifier reacts to rising humidity. If the room humidity approaches the set target value, the unit starts automatically. Once the desired humidity is reached, both the dehumidification and the ventilation pause.
To avoid unnecessary restarts due to residual moisture after a previous cycle, the WT230D takes a short break after each operating cycle. The target humidity value can also be adjusted individually in this operating mode.
The current humidity as well as the set target humidity are shown on the digital display, making it easy to monitor the drying process.
The fan of the Aerial WT230D can be operated in two power levels. The normal level provides a strong airflow, while the additional power level further increases the air output.
In noise-sensitive areas, the lower fan speed may be advantageous. For larger loads, the stronger setting supports a longer reach for the dry air, ensuring efficient air distribution in the drying room.
For targeted direction of the airflow, the slats on the air outlet are adjustable both laterally and in height. This allows the dry air to be better aligned with the layout of the drying racks.
The WT230D works with an electronically operated radial fan. This generates a powerful airflow and supports the distribution of dry air even over longer distances in the room.
The magnetically attached air filter on the front traps dust from the intake air. The filter is easy to remove for cleaning.
Condensate is drained via the provided hose connection. The connection point is not located directly at the bottom edge of the unit, but slightly below the center of the rear panel. This can be advantageous if there is a shallow slope to the drain or if the unit is mounted in a lower position.
The hose is included in the scope of delivery. For the most convenient operation, direct discharge into a drain is recommended. If using a bucket, it should be dimensioned to be sufficiently large.
The Aerial WT230D is mounted using a mounting bracket that is attached to the wall with two screws. The unit can then be easily hooked into place.
The unit is made in Germany and, according to the manufacturer, received a very high rating from the Swiss testing facility "Swiss Testing".
